Some of my favorite days are those that I spend with other wedding industry creatives. It’s one of the best parts of wedding days, seeing everyone’s hard work pay off and come together to create dreams. Styled shoots are just like that. On steroids! I mean, no other time do I get to gush over multiple rings, show stopper shoes and fun new ideas, like a HANGING cake!!!Read More
As Ryan zipped up her dress, a smile spread across her face. She turned around and gave him a kiss. The excitement in the room was contagious. They were going to be married today. And they were determined to soak up every second. Together.
When she was 12 she wrote a letter to her future husband. And while one thing she probably didn’t expect was that she would call security on him the first time they met, she also didn’t expect to find a love that was even better than anything she could have wished for back then.
The day started out cool and drizzly. But truly, nothing could dampen Danielle’s spirit.
You know how the saying goes?
“Every once in a while, in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale.”
As he picked up the microphone and made his way to the center of the room the entire crowd fell silent. He had just given away his daughter. She was no longer the little girl that made friends by just walking in to the neighbors house. She was a bright, kind, amazing woman and she had found the man that was made just for her.

Because that is what it is all about.
You can always tell when someone has just found their match. There is a way that they interact. A look that they give one another. That cute smile, and the way she giggles as he whispers something in her ear.
He met with her couples group for over a year and a half. On Facetime. He picked up and moved his whole life to Grand Junction. For her. Because when two people are just meant to be, there is nothing that can stand in their way.
I am always in awe of couples who can go the distance, quite literally, and maintain a relationship over incredible distances. Relationships are hard to begin with, and so when I meet a couple who not only made it work, but thrived during their long distance time, I know that they are the stuff of legends.
Every once in a while I get to do a session that, as soon as I hear about it I can’t stop thinking about it. It just so happens that Dulce and Bryan got engaged one a stretch of river that my family had been rafting for years, so as soon as they told me that they wanted to go back to the camp spot where Bryan proposed to do their engagement photos I was all in!Read More
