Because of my job I tend to mark the passing of time by season, rather than month. If it’s raining it’s spring. If it’s 80 and sunny, it’s spring and if it snows, it just might be spring. Colorado can never seem to make up her mind which season is which.
After a winter with less snow than I can ever remember our “spring” has decided it wanted to pack 3 months worth of snow/sleet/rain and wind into one.
But it hasn’t all been bad. We have random days in between where we hit 80 and are tricked into thinking we could pull out the shorts and margarita mixer. How nice…
And yet somehow, through all of this chaos – we managed to land the perfect day for Sam’s college senior photos!
The clouds parted and we finally saw the sun! And we ended up with the “glow” that we had hoped for all week long. Even the wind agreed to calm down for the most part. Or at least blow the right way for that AMAZING Beyonce look.
But the best thing, without a doubt, was getting to spend the evening with Sam herself. Her laugh is infectious and she’s just one of those people you could chat with all day. Most of all, she was up for anything, and because of that we got some great shots!
So Sam, thanks for giving me the chance to hang out and best of luck in all that you do! CMU has another amazing grad on their hands!
Enjoy some of my favorites!
